Learn to Skate/Learn to Play
Medfield Learn to Play Hockey(LTP)/Learn to Skate(LTS) is a fun instructional program which focuses on skating as well as basic hockey skills. The program is open to those who are new to the ice as well as those with skating experience who are looking to continue to develop their skating and hockey skills.
MYH coaches along with the help of MYH Volunteers will have the newcomers up on their skates in no time. This is a fun introduction to the ice and to the game of hockey.
Ages
Open to boys and girls at least 4 years of age.
When
All session are held on Saturday afternoon at 2pm at Norfolk Arena.

What is the required equipment for the Learn to Play Program?
The required equipment for the Learn to Play Program is a hockey helmet with face cage, shin pads, elbow pads, hockey pants, hockey gloves, hockey skates, hockey stick & mouth guard. In addition to the required equipment, shoulder pads and neck guard are suggested.
Session 1: Fall 2025
10-week session, Saturdays at 2pm at Norfolk Arena:
- October 18th, 25th
- November 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th
- December 6th, 13th, 20th
Cost is $200 for the 10-week session.
Fall 2025
Fall LTS/LTP is a 10-week session that will run from October 18th through December 20th.
